This area has the most feminine energy in the whole of the house. It
relates to all one to one relationships; those with your spouse, your employer
and/or employees and your friends. It is associated with the element earth; the
warm, fertile, black earth that anything can grow in.
It relates to the season of Indian summer, a time of plenty and the plant
Saturn and the times between 1pm and 3pm. It is an area that is soft, stable,
nurturing and should have a safe feeling.
Health
The
organ that this area relates to is the spleen/stomach, which has the job
of
preparing
the food, transporting it and feeding it to the other organs. It
provides
mental
clarity and controls your thoughts and your short-term memory. The positive
emotions of the spleen/stomach are duty and fairness (not having the stomach to
do something wrong), nurturing, harmony, hospitality, steadiness and feeling
centred. It's job is to balance.
In the negative, the spleen represents complaining (being splenetic), having an
excessive appetite and craving for more. Feelings of insecurity and fear (yellow
bellied), and needing lots of attention. To strengthen that part of your body,
make changes in this area.
Missing or Extended
Areas
Mentally draw a line down the centre of
your home. Or draw a plan and mark in pencil. If the area that is missing is
equal or less than half of the total external wall measurement it is a missing
area. If however, the missing area is greater than half of the total
external wall measurement then you have an extended area.
The above examples show a Missing
Relationship Area
When this area is missing it will be
hard for a woman to be happy, and it will be very difficult to have satisfying
relationships and find a life partner. The people who live here can tend to have
stomach weakness and have difficulty nurturing themselves and others. The
feminine energy is missing, so if there is a woman in the home, she can become
more masculine.
The above examples show an Extended
Relationship Area
If the area is extended, then the
woman can become too dominant, weakening the man. This is not good for a woman,
she naturally has less testosterone and it is more in keeping with her
biological nature to be slightly softer, flexible and nurturing. So to be too
dominant can damage her health.
